    Tools of Japan

    My first Keiba Pliers. I will use them mostly for fence work. First impression without using them - very highly quality! Ordered from DRPD. Also, I google translated some of the packaging that indicates you can arrange for tours of their factory. I vote a Garage Journal member in Japan check...

    https://a.co/d/0d7CM1J This seems a good price ($44) on a Ko-Ken 3/8” drive 7” ratchet. I placed an order, so we’ll see if it’s legitimate.

    Fortunately this years tape measure budget was able to absorb that astronomical $20 extra that was splurged on trying out something new to me. “Ain’t” no way I’m skimping on my Japanese tape measure….

    My first (and only) Cornwell warranty experience

    I don’t own much Cornwell but my experience was, as others have stated, send it to Cornwell. I bought a brand new ratchet that didn’t work properly from a Cornwell dealer who was a jerk. After lying several times about shipping me a rebuild kit I was ready to throw it in the garbage and be done...

    Craftsman =v= 1/4dr. Sockets - 12,13mm

    Hello - I’m on a fools errand to assemble a vintage craftsman 1/4” metric set. I need two more sockets for completion: 12mm and 13mm 6 point Shallow 1/4” drive =v= series Good shape - chrome intact. Thanks!!!

    Let's show our wood (screwdrivers)

    I can’t claim to be a wood handle screwdriver collector, but I am a long time fan of Winchesters other products. I thought this was cool.

    Now I’m with you!! Thanks!! Is the bit adapter Snap On? Seems like I didn’t find a low profile adapter when I got my ratchet, but it’s been a while. edit - I see the Snap On link. Now I have to figure out why I don’t have one (bought the set).

    FWIW - That’s an 11mm ratchet for low profile sockets, not a 1/4” bit driver. Not sure if that’s where you were going with that?

    Howdy from DRPD!

    Curious if there is an update on PB Swiss inventory coming back to stock? I managed to snag one Evo Phillips driver before most of the Evo sold out. I’m ready for more!!

    My first foray into locking extensions was Tekton. They were complete garbage. I moved on to Stahlwille and they are worth every penny spent.

    Tools of Japan

    I don’t know what it is about these little Toyo/Trusco boxes that I find so fascinating. I guess in a world of plastic Chinese ****, there is something satisfying about a simple metal box. I’ve got four sizes now. Agree on the blue! I just got a Y-350 in Army Green that is pretty cool.
