Craftsman box without wheels on wood frame?

My thought process was a small frame to get it up off the concrete a little. A piece of plywood would work well too.

    Toolbox quality hierarchy

Fellow GJ peeps, in a previous life I was a mechanic for 15 years or so on various things. I’ve owned Craftsman, MAC, and SnapOn boxes. I am no longer wrenching for a living but do a little here and there at home. For heavy daily use I would have kept my Snappy box, but for the sporadic use at...

Craftsman box without wheels on wood frame?

Hey guys, I need to increase my tool storage in my garage. I have a 52” craftsman top and bottom box that are full. Due to space issues I was thinking of buying another 52” or 60”, taking the wheels off and trying to build a thin 1x1 frame under the box so it would fit under my work bench. Is it...

    Anyone using battery adapters ?

I have the adaptors to run 20V DeWalt in Milwaukee and vice versa. I picked them up off eBay to use while I transition out of DeWalt. Both adaptors have worked well for me.

    Help IDing coworkers tabletop mill

It’s entirely possible. We’re just trying to figure out what it is and if we can find any manuals for it.

    Help IDing coworkers tabletop mill

Hey guys, I was at a coworkers house last night and he was showing me a tabletop mill he acquired recently. It looks like it’s been painted, and there are no identifying marks or labels. Is there anyone that can ID this or tell us what to look for in IDing it? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to slide the talk away from turbos(I do love forced air induction), but I have a Jeep question for you Mike. My wife's '14 Wrangler is having touchscreen radio issues. It is the factory radio, and she doesn't want anything fancy. Do you know of a place to get either a replacement OEM...

I’ve sinned. I bought another tool brand.

I’ve been a Dewalt guy for years. I have maybe 8 tools and batteries. Yesterday I needed a rotary hammer drill. Walked right to the Milwaukee section and bought a nice one and picked up a battery and charger since it doesn’t run on hopes and dreams. For whatever reason, I didn’t even think to...

I've wanted a skid steer in the worst way to clear away the Wi snow. Push it back and up, and you're good to go.

That’s a beautiful car Mike. If I’m in a position to get a fun vehicle, I think that would be on the short list. Can’t wait to see what you do with it. As far as motorcycle riding and watching tires… That’s a handy piece of advice for any driving. I’m always watching rims of cars 90° to my...

Why would software updates work better at a dealership? The service techs should have hotspots they use for service calls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New home toolbox

I traded in a triple bank. I forget what the number was, but I think it was about 24-28” deep. Probably 6-7’ long. I’m probably looking for a stacked single or double bank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New home toolbox

Hey guys, I recently stopped my day job as a diesel mechanic. I don’t have room for my work tool box at home, so I’m selling it back to the snap-on guy. I am in need of a new toolbox for at home. What are good at home brands? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
