I have the Pittsburgh 1/4 roto that's seen a fair amount of use and has never given me any reason to doubt it. I did swap the handle for an acetate screwdriver style and the end result is roughly 7.25" long. I've got no complaints for the money spent.

Besides the obligatory broken flat blade screwdriver used inappropriately, the only tools I've broken are the three ratchets that came with my first tool set and an 8mm hex socket and a 1/2 drive 21mm from that same set.

Do your Craftsman sockets have the detents machined in? I have a set of old 1/4 Husky's that don't.

My mid 90's Husky tool set came with ratchets that look just like that except they had knurled handles instead of plastic. Thumbwheel, switch, and chrome anvil all the same.

My house was built in the 1954 so I doubt it, but who knows? Either way I never had any reason to mess with them. I only noticed them when I was sealing and insulating the rim joist.

I have a 5 of them, 1/4-1/2 that came with a mid 90's Husky tool set. The only 4 point fasteners I've ever come across are the nuts that hold the mudsill to the foundation of my house.

After buying the Power Torque 3/8 stubby on the left and finding I use it on pretty much every job, I did a little research and found the other ones from SK11. Love these little guys.

I use a true temper hdpe snow pusher and d handle poly scoop for the lighter stuff. For the heavy wet snow I have a shovel I bought years ago at Ocean State Job Lot.
