    Heating up the garage?

In my garage shop, I use a 48K BTU patio heater. When needed, I first crank it to about the medium heat, then later set it to LOW and leave it there until it's no longer needed. My shop is ~720sf and insulated with 14' walls. We experience very few days at or below freezing down here. If...

Beautiful. (y) ----------- I have 2 spares. ---------- In the garage shop today, I installed the base and outriggers to the 7' tall wooden Christmas tree. It can barely be seen in the image below, but I also installed a brace from side-to-side about half way up. Wife will string...

Built another wooden Christmas tree. This one is 7' without the base. Wife will decide where to place it after the base is installed and the lights are strung. Later in the day, I made a branding iron.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Not in the garage shop, but close to it. ;) Wife applied paint to the wooden Christmas tree. It will sit in the garage shop overnight, then I'll install the stability cross-bar and she'll paint the base Matt Black, before stringing the lights and decorations. (y)

Nothing at the moment. Wife asked the same question and I told her I was going to attach a metal cross-bar(swivel) to the base. ;)

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yesterday: Gave the wife a hand, building a simple decorative 5' wooden Christmas tree to place on the front porch. She'll paint it, then attach small lights and other decorations after the pain has dried. I think she did well for her first wood-working project. :) She set it under the...

Modified a drain basin from a 2-inlet/outlet to a 3-inlet/outlet. I scribed and cut this hole. ↓ Then bonded the 4" corrugated pipe fitting to the basin box. (y) What did I do with the drain basin?

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Miller Time Garage

We experienced a strong wind storm a few weeks back. The lean-to door that I installed a while back didn't have a back-stop. The winds blew the door inside and damaged the door frame. I removed the door for repair, priming and painting, then re-installed it. This time, I weld 2 back stops to...

She was raised in the country. Only girl in their 11-children family to help her mom in the kitchen and around the house. Never complains. :) The shoulder recovery is so-so with a bit of pain that's manageable using Tylenol 500mg 3-time daily. (y) OUCH!!! Yes it does. :( Right shoulder SAD...

Thanks. :) It's been a bit over 3 weeks since the surgery and I've begun PT, stretches for motion and exercise for strengthening. It's rough not being able to use my right arm. Happy that my bride is able to do heavy lifting. (y)

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

At the shop's door, my bride removed the twelve-50Lb. bags of Quikrete from the truck bed and placed them on a pallet inside the shop. I supervised as I'm a product of a recent rotator cuff surgery. ;)
