(slightly off topic) I think Walmart rebrands these at less than half the price of the Lisle brand. I bought both sets and they are identical. Very sturdy and well made. I wouldn't call myself a Lisle fan, but everything i have that is made by Lisle I consider to be a good value.

ninja - i'm not technical enough to completely follow your response but it seems like you are saying this device chip runs off of firmware and not a conventional OS? if so, is there anyway for the OP to hack / access the eproms and look for the password?
