Compressor tag over spray cleanup suggestions

Try some NON flammable brake parts cleaner. I've found it doesn't flash off nearly as quick as carb cleaner and not NEAR as hard on painted surfaces. You can rub off a little at a time without worrying much about the underlying surface.

It's like doing bodywork. You can't rush it, gotta have patience, a good bit of practice helps too.

I know........and we moved it 3 times! Once at big orange onto our carts, then again in the parking lot onto out trailer, then again into my son's house. It WAS 3 different trips though.

Wife and I got a solid 20 hours EACH in this holiday weekend. These pics don't look much different but MOST of the upstairs is ready for final sanding and touch ups. The whole house will be level 4 smooth wall finish. Both tub and shower areas are ready for a bit of thinset sanding and...

I thought I'd be time ahead to mix another small batch of thinset the other day so it would be ready for me........I put the lid on the gallon bucket and everything.......DOH!! I guess I thought it wouldn't 'dry' :lol_hitti. Well, I have a nice little boat anchor, or maybe a quick...

Today, while my wife was tapin' and muddin', I mixed up some thinset and buried some mesh tape on the Durock in both bathrooms. I mixed the first little bit with a paint paddle.........it took FOREVER!!! So I grabbed a TIG filler rod and bent this little guy up for the drill. It works like a champ!

I cant completely finish the drywall until all the wood in the vaulted ceiling area is done. The reason is because I need to rest my walkboards across the stairs and on the 2x6 screwed to the wall. BUT...all those pieces are cut and ready to hang. All the rest is done and I'm now helping my wife...

I set my ladder back up on the scaffolding and hung the top portion of the stairwell today. I also utilized some scraps and started under the staircase as well. This will get a door and become useful storage.

It's been standing dead for over 2 years......you think it might still be sappy? I have a moisture meter, I'll check 'em out. Edit: I checked the boards. They range from 28-39% moisture!! I never would have thunk!!

Earlier this week I cut down a standing dead ash tree.......I have a few around here. This morning I hauled the main trunk part down to a local guy that has one of those portable sawmills. And a few hours later I went back and picked up some wood!!! The 4x4 posts are going to be the posts for...

    Buckling 14x20 slab

OK, so it looks like the slab was just poured on the dirt with NO gravel base OR compaction, OR rebar. And it seems you have new rules that will sort of screw you with any major work. SO, I would do 'repairs' to the structure instead. Do them in stages, a little at a time to avoid any...

    FIRE *SAFETY* Remider *****

I run a business full time...........well, almost full time. I shut down in the winter months cause nobody is riding jet skis. Winter off season is when I do major engine work and full rebuilds. Since I specifically work on PersonalWaterCraft, most insurance companies call me "UNinsureable"...
