HD gives you 5% off if you use your HD charge, just like Lowes. You just have to ask at the register. Even in self-checkout, I just hold up my charge and ask for the discount. Takes them just a second to apply it. Lowes discount is automatic.

What about using a pocket door for the inside garage door? Would not take up wall space.

Need to replace my two doors (16x7, 16x9), there are so many choices. Plan to get a good insulated door, just not sure about the style. Looking for somthing other than just a basic door. Thanks
