Looking for a ratchet with internal socket storage (ultra-portable set)

the first one is too many parts. basically a ratchet and separate sockets. A big carrying case doesnt' help me much, it's just another case inside my bag, and something to try and take out and set down where there's no places to set things down. the second one looks pretty interesting since it...

Looking for a ratchet with internal socket storage (ultra-portable set)

I'm trying to find an ultra-compact/light-weight rachet/socket set. This is one of those where best/strongest/biggest isn't the prime decision driver. I need small/compact/light. The less tools the better for this case. I'm an engineer, and I've got a few trips into the field coming up (aka on...

    Window tint

I went through the same thing. I did smoked tint at first, and you could still see in and out (you'd have to be up close against the window to see in, but you could still see in even during the daytime). I flipped the glass, so the smoked tint was on the outside, and put mirror tint on the...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

The tires have plenty of tread but they're dry rotted, and I noticed one isn't even a trailer tire, it's a 15" car tire lol. No biggie for now since it just sits. If it needs it when we move in a few years I'll toss a fresh set on. I plan on jacking it up and blocking it on pavers once it's...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

Will do! I plan on blocking it up, but tires are staying on, got enough stuff to store in the trailer, don't need to start storing the rest of the trailer inside the trailer too lol. Haven't gotten any pics of the inside yet because I've been so busy. Had to renovate my parent's rental...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

one last pic, could only attach 7 in the last reply, and this 8th one is the best pic showing how it all turned out! lol. Just look at that left side, it's as mirror finish as a trailer can get, especially a 9 year old one lol Much better than the chalky blue dull non-reflective surface I...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

haha didn't know you were on here! We don't have an HOA here, but the township rules are still stupid when it comes to shed placement. They purposely make the rules ridiculous so they can get more money for variances. All that does is discourages people from doing the right things with permits...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

Got the storage bin rack built today. Turned out great. Trailer is now split into 2 distinct areas with the storage rack dividing the two. Unfortunately I flew through the 20 2x3x8's I had painted to build it. Didn't expect to use that many lol, but I did build the rack so it could hold some...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

I can't wait to see how much **** I can fit into this thing lol. Organization is key though. A giant pile of junk can shrink in half once it's actually organized lol.

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

A shed was going to run around $2,000 plus ~$400 in the variance and permit. Yes I know for much cheaper you can slap something up and call it a shed, but I don't half azz anything. The nice sheds that would have been roughly equivalent size to this trailer and to finish it as nicely would have...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

Nope, nothing to really disguise. I don't mind having a trailer sitting in the corner of the yard. It's right behind where my driveway ends, so I'll just take a piece of rigid fence down (6' privacy fence) and make it a gated section, so it's just basically an extension of my driveway into the...

Enclosed Cargo Trailer Renovation - Mobile Mini Shop/Shed

So I found a loophole for my rip off township that wants $400 for a variance to put a shed less than 15' from the fence....a "mobile shed" lol....I bought a used 6x14 enclosed Haulmark Club trailer and going to park it right where I was going to put a shed, smack against the fence in the corner...

Garage vent fans for gasoline fumes....need ideas/suggestions

This thread is over 2 years old, fan has been working great for 2 years now. Big difference between fuel scent in the air, and raw fumes ready to explode. And just fuel scent in the air is annoying enough to want to fix. I purposely put the fan at the bottom of the wall to draw fumes out since...

Garage vent fans for gasoline fumes....need ideas/suggestions

another long term update, the fan has been working fine, but I'm redoing the fuel lines on my race truck with teflon lined braided fuel hose, rather than regular rubber nylon braided fuel hose. Should fix the fuel scent, then I won't need to keep the vent fan on the timer!

Garage vent fans for gasoline fumes....need ideas/suggestions

long term update. I put a vent fan at the bottom of the wall in the back of the garage to vent out through a dryer duct I put in the wall to the exterior. On the garage door I put a passive vent screen just to let air get sucked in and acros the garage to the vent fan on the back wall. it helps...

Garage vent fans for gasoline fumes....need ideas/suggestions

Simply using it to get the point across...the fumes are strong, some people go crazy over the faintest smell of anything. These aren't huffing a can of gas strong, but they're clearly present. Also a vent fan would keep the vapors from ever even getting strong enough to even cause concern...

Garage vent fans for gasoline fumes....need ideas/suggestions

I've got an attached single car garage that I park my race truck in. The braided nylon fuel lines (-12AN....monsterous lol) have a pretty strong fuel vapor smell to them. When the trucks outside You can't smell anything. About an hour after its parked in the garage it smells pretty bad. After a...
