I feel your pain about NOVA I grew up in Fairfax county and never had a garage, although I did rent one from a guy in Arlington for a brief time. I've moved away and back a few times and every time I go back its different, although the traffic always *****. Still have family in the area so we...

    flip flops and garage safety

Flip flops are for the beach or the pool and that's about it, of course my wife won't wear anything else and thinks I'm crazy for always wearing shoes in FL. Good luck with those toes and remember you only get one set of feet so take care of them.

    AMP Crimping Tool?

They've been very "fine happy" of late. It seems there's a new announcement of an airline getting fined almost weekly so far this year.

    AMP Crimping Tool?

You'll get a better crimp with less chance of over/under crimping. Enjoy using them on your scout. I'm not familar with the AMP tool but we use Daniels crimping tools all the time on various aircraft wiring repairs, installs, etc. Obviously if your not using them on aircraft you probably don't...

    question about "aircraft" ratchets

Hi-Locs are nice, one man install in most cases with no need to buck a rivet. They're generally interchangeable with rivets dependent on the application. Unless your doing a lot of aircraft structures work I wouldn't think you'd need a hi-loc ratchet and even then a lot of the areas where...
