Realized no Advance Auto Parts near me, so had to go to Walmart. Bought 4 of the five quart jugs of mobil1 syn. Two separate rebate requests for 2x$12 each sent in ... lets see how it goes. I would have preferred the the filters for an extra $5 each ... but oil for cheap still works for me.

I'm thinking the advanced deal where you get a $5 voucher from them sounds best. $38 for oil & filter and then get $18 off once both rebates are in. Makes the filters dirt cheap. BUT does the advanced rebate need the receipt too? Ie can you do both? If not, then I'll go to Walmart tomorrow...

Anyone else managed to get the 20% off the sale price deal? I'm about to get a compressor in the next few months, but would jump early to get a higher quality and quiet one like this (compared to the Kobalt or HF options I was probably going to go with).

Actually on way to store right now to collect these, as I ordered the other night for $30 less the $5 discount coupon thingee that was a hot deal last week. I think with points, I'm $24 out the door. I figured they can't be worse than HF, and nicely bridge the HF 3T and 6T options.

Seems a lot of very different views on HF jacks. No consistency. 90 day warranty for the 3T low profile, but $30 gets a 2 year (+ the 90 day) warranty. I can find zero information on replacing seals in them if they die. I can also find zero information about wether the alloy ones use better or...
