I use a G-floor mat made by Better Life Technology. It keeps all the slop off the floor. To clean it I pull it out on the drive and clean it with a mop and rinse.

DogP I have tight clearance for my opener. The guy that put it in didn't seem to have a problem. There is only 6 1/2 in.

Maybe you can take off the horizontal boards off one at a time and slide it in on the 2 by's that the compressor legs are on. edit: looks like johnnyo beat me to it.

Here's my vise. I got this when I bought my father's house after he passed on. The vise is a Hollands # 24 it has a 4" jaw and opens 8" it also rotates 360 degrees. Thats about all I know about it other than its been in our family at least 50 years. This vise has been around as long as I can...

Amen to that. I wish I had that height for storage space. Where I live the height is limited to 15 feet high at the peak.

No they didn't come from HD. They are Merrillat Masterpiece series cabinets. We bought those because I wanted cabinets with boxes that were made with plywood instead of press board. They cost a little more but well worth the money.

Stove works great. The wife and I both like it, especially the griddle on the middle burner.

The wife, kids and I did almost all. We had a electrician and a plumber do some work that needed to be done.

Your floor was not as bad as mine was, but I had it cut out and replaced. This is what I started with. This is what was cut out. After the pour.

I have this same welding cart. It to has the powder coating peeling off. I believe it's because they never cleaned the rust off before coating. FAIL

I ran all mine on the outside of the wall. I did it so if I ever have to run a new outlet it would be easy to do. Here's a few pics.
