    Race Deck Install

You HAVE to use them to get a finished look. Are you referring to the 2" wide edging for racedeck? In the scheme of things the cost is pretty insignificant and it looks far better at the garage entrance than tile edge. Just finished my install a couple weeks ago. Chris

Rubber cove molding and Race Deck Installation

Here's a nice thread on installation. FYI, I put it on after the race deck so it covers the gap between the racedeck and the wall. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20868 Chris

    RaceDeck Presidents Sale

For your welding area you could get the metal faced tiles that racedeck offers and they're compatible with regular racedeck, so you can designate a weld area and put the metal tiles down and the rest standard racedeck. It's called racedeck pro http://racedeck.com/pro.html Chris

    Baseboard question

After installing some two weeks ago in my garage a tip that really helps put it down. (I had put it on brick), get one of those small cheap plastic 4" paint rollers. When you put the baseboard in place use the roller to get good contact with the surface your bonding to, helps smooth the whole...

Air Line Piping Question (and I did search)

Have you considered the garage-pak air system? I'm looking at this right now and going to probably opt for it. http://www.garage-pak.com/index.html Chris

How do you hang your hose

Wrap mine around the handle of the compressor, pain in the ****, now that my floor's done I'm getting a reel. Also going to get the garage pak air system so I only need short hoses as I'll have a port at each station Chris

Racedeck tile as a table top?

I had some leftover racedeck tile on my recent install. Thought perhaps I'd cover my workbench with it. Anyone done this? Thoughts? Am I nutz? ;) Chris

Tasteful way to conceal a compressor??

Good ideas guys. I actually used to be a sheet metal worker and am still on friendly terms with my former employer, so I might go and get a piece of alum treadplate bent into a U to wrap around and mount a table top. Thanks again guys! Chris

Tasteful way to conceal a compressor??

Yep, I'm thinking some type of cabinet as well. It'd be nice to just buy a pre-made and adapt it but probably not gonna happen, someone?? Anyone? Chris

Tasteful way to conceal a compressor??

HI guys, Here's a pic of my compressor, it's 45" high, anyone have ideas as to how/or what to do conceal it? I'm thinking a cabinet with the back cut out for ventilation cooling, but I'm really stuck. Ideally I could use the top of the cover as well. Any ideas?? Chris

    Yet another happy racedeck customer!!

I should've also prefaced that "you can never have too many motorcycles when they're Italian" as one tends to be broken? Thanks for the comps guys, I'm really pleased with the colors. Motorsport, I did go with the 18" as I thought the checkerboard pattern in 12" might be a bit dizzying for me...

    Replacing individual racedeck tiles

Nope, don't need to do that yet, but for future ref. I did a forum search and could find no mention of it. So could someone tell me the easiest way to remove a racedeck located say in the center of the garage?? Chris

    Yet another happy racedeck customer!!

After I read this I went out and looked it over, and I absolutely could've done the strip to the inside with not a major modification, for some reason I just couldn't picture it, oh well, it's there for good now. Chris

    Yet another happy racedeck customer!!

You are right, good eye, the way my garage is constructed, try as I might I couldn't configure it to have the edgin without leaving an open area on either side of the door of bare concrete, so I opted for edging protruding to have a more finished look inside. The option was to move the edging in...

    Yet another happy racedeck customer!!

Thanks, I'll probably regret it, but I like the brightness of it! ;) Also wanted to mention to you as I don't believe you've installed the rubber baseboards in your garage yet because of the temps. When ready to install, get a 4" paint roller, it does an exc. job of forcing the baseboard to...

    Yet another happy racedeck customer!!

HI All, After ruminating over flooring for over a year, I finally settled on racedeck. Spoke to Jorgen this past Monday, my flooring arrived on Friday (Utah to GA!) and installed this morning. Total time was probably about 5hours, but that includes the rubber wall baseboards. Had I to do it...

    Enclosed trailer flooring - Help!

Have you considered using a spray-in type application like Line-x, this gives good texture so not slippery and looks good. Chris
