Cleaned stuff off of the top of the toolbox. Gathered a few tools and supplies so I can make a small repair at work today.

Swept up and started cleaning walls so I can fix drywall dings, re-tape a few seams and paint.

An overlooked but very useful tool to have around. For me, especially in winter when slush build-up drops from the wheel wells onto the floor.

Finished cleaning up my Athol 614 1/2 and reassembled it. Made a simple tool from a rake handle, notching one end so I could compress the spring and washers that hold the screw inside the dynamic jaw and insert a cotter pin.

Continued cleaning up my Athol 614 1/2, almost there. Replaced the passenger side visor on my SIL’s Honda Pilot referenced a couple of pages back. Pretty sure the bling heart on the OEM was optional equipment.

Working on cleaning up the Athol 614 I picked up last week. Disassembled and scraping out the dried up and dirty grease.

Disassembled a dead deck chair and put the metal bits in the recycle bin. Repurposed the fabric as a table cover while I continued working on the Athol.

Wired up a temporary fix on my lawnmower handle after the bolt that affixes it to the deck broke. Started disassembling and stripping the Athol vise I picked up earlier this week. Consolidated a bunch of stuff my wife moved from her storage to the garage so I can take it to Goodwill.

Curious what Subi wanted for the visor assembly. I swapped out the drivers visor on my SIL’s Honda Pilot with an aftermarket last fall after the dealer quoted nearly $600 for the OEM.

Cleaned some more stuff off of the top of the tool box, consolidated some small part containers for the ultrasonic cleaner and put them in the cleaner so I’ll know where to find them.

I picked up this Athol 614 1/2 today. I has at least 3 coats of paint on it but I couldn’t find any evidence of damage and the price was low enough to take a chance. I’ll start stripping the paint off of it this weekend.
