Here's a picture of my Snap On K-60 Super Chest. It was made between 1939 and 1946. Most of them were red but they also made some in gray like this one.

I've decided to order a repair kit for this jack but I can't find a model number anywhere on it. There is s serial number on it which is D 632 K10419. Does this serial number somehow indicate the model number or am I overlooking the model number on this jack? Any help would be appreciated.

You're correct, this is a short lock. It has two flat surfaces on the threads and as far as I know it is the original lock. The locksmith that I did go to wouldn't attempt to fix the lock and the replacement locks that he had didn't have the correct tail piece. I'll try another locksmith...
