And fyi ignore the 2x6 I have placed there in some what of a collar tie location, was just seeing how big of a piece I would need / the location of it.

So the ceiling joists are all 1 piece, the main beam is 2 or 3 different 2x10’s. The long side of the roof rafters are very long. The distance between the ceiling joists and the current smaller “ridge beam” is 45” so not much room to move them up like I was thinking.
