I personally would keep an on CL and buy a vintage, American made vise that will last a lifetime. It is possible to get one for the same $ you'd have in the Yost.

This is one reason I'm glad no permits are required in the rural area I live therefore no inspectors. On the downside, it would make me hesitant to buy a house or shop built by someone else.

I tried this at a local Sears that has 4 sets but it didn't get me very far. The phone rep said she didn't show were they could view a price as the page was taken down and she couldn't confirm that it had been 29.99. :(
