2 post lift brand new concrete floor prep

Thanks everyone for the advice, I am thinking of doing 4'x13' area where the lift will be located, I will make that area 2 inches deeper. That would work? I will route the rebar in a way so it won't be a conflict with the anchor bolts. Same with the pex for heating.

2 post lift brand new concrete floor prep

Any recommendations? I worked with quite a few atlas in the 90's and early 2000's, I liked them, might go with them if they're good still.

What cost should I see per sq ft for pour and finish slab?

Thank you everyone for the advice, I have thought this out very well and made a plan to do this, due to the short time window to winter, I have decided to just hire out for part of the project. So the hire will do half, and I will do the other half at a other time. That other half is not really...

What cost should I see per sq ft for pour and finish slab?

Thank you all for the advice. I am curious what is the worst that could happen if we do the concrete ourselves? The mix is ready mix so I don't need to do anything to it just pour and shape it however we want to.

Does pad need to be compacted again after lift traffic on pad?

I believe the sand that is used is called fill sand. Once its wetted and packed level, the surface is pretty solid that it feels like cement. It's almost like class 5 but rocks are smaller. It just is terrible material for wheeled vehicles if you turn the wheel it will break it up. But If going...

Does pad need to be compacted again after lift traffic on pad?

Its all sand, turned out that the builders had the lift on flat ground switch not incline switch. It was a rental lift, they called the rental place next day and found out about that. then it was fine for the rest of the week.

Does pad need to be compacted again after lift traffic on pad?

So I hired someone to build the pad, it is all sand, then the builders got the lift stuck on the pad few times. I have already leveled it off with my tracked skidsteer. I am not sure if I should have the pad compacted again before the concrete comes? slab will be 40'x104'x4"

The ground is all sand and we have 5-foot frost depth here in north central Minnesota, Ground snow load...

So I am building a 40'x104'x12' post frame shop, 40'x24' will be living space, I do not really want to have living space at 12' ceilings as I live in north central Minnesota, that 12' ceiling would be waste of heating. How can this be done?

2 story, do you insulate in between or no?

It's going to be a 40x88x17 Shouse, the shell will be built first, then build the 40x26 living space with 2nd floor that is more of a entertainment/guest room rather than daily uses. I am wondering if it would be worth it to put blown insulation in between the floor trusses before installing the...

2nd floor in a post frame shell with 16 ft walls question about load bearing wall placement
