I've got about a dozen combination squares to my name, I know what a combination square is. Look at the one in focus compared to LaSquare tubing square it's next to. It's massive and looks to have magnets built into it.

Probably going to be cordless, I've never seen one with a cord on it but Milwaukee makes one that's pretty good. It's the 2485. So far I've been pretty pleased with it with a 3.0 battery.

Agreed, don't get too deep into it. It's definitely a good machine when running .but there are good cheap machines with more options available now WITH 3 years warrantees.

The maxstar 200 is a good welder in the way that it has some good Tig functionality (dc only) and can run on anything from 110 to 480 1ph or 3ph. That being said it's not the current model and could be up to 15 years old to my knowledge (maybe older). I'd probably start off at 250 and go from there.

Ive had one in a proto set for about 8 years now. I've only ever used it on metric bolts and not since I got my SK metric impact set! I could probably stop carrying it!

Yes it's used for also for some precise layout as well. It seems to coated in something like maybe fluid film or cosmoline or something. It's far beyond the level of precision used in my garage!
