23' x 25' garage 8' Ceiling trying to decide on what type of lights

I used 4 ft LED from Home depot - not the cheapest solution but works well. Store SKU # 1000532467 I shortened the molded cables so it looked neater. I wish the cabling was more modular ( screw terminals, etc) so it did not require soldering to look neat. They are switched in groups.

Atlas scissor lift FM9SL vs SLP9K for flush mount

The SLP requires much higher clearance (distance above finished floor) to achieve rated lift force. The FM produced near 100% of rated lifting power right right out of ground because arms are not as "closed" up. Maybe it's not an issue, lower vehicle tend to be lighter ( sedans, etc) than...

BendPak gone the way of the throw away culture!

All comes down to fewer parts to inventory (lower cost) and of course, higher profit. Win win :) not for us, but for them.

In my application, I wanted to be able to read temp in different locations and control heat based on that input. It can also weigh each zone differently.

Looking for a remote sensing Thermostat

https://venstar.com/thermostats/accessories/remote-sensor-10k/ Some Tstat allow multiple sensors, this one allows series/parallel connection so you can average temp across multiple points - hard wired. Another option, also hard wired...

Any of you body guys found some good spray bottles for cleaners?

https://www.mckernan.com/wholesale-bulk/trigger-sprayers?group=ht&finish=28x400 Request samples :) Heavy solvents will mess up soft plastic bits inside, so don't expect long service life. Save the windex, 409 and other household cleaner spray bottles and sprayers. They have thousands of life...

Atlas FM9SL Scissor Lift Flush-Mount Install

it's mcmaster 93085K91, about $1/ft - i think you need about 28 ft, so i bought 10 and 20 ft lengths. Originally planned on having a sheet metal edge come up with lift ( rubber band? spring, gas shocks), friction fit w some felt washers with lip that extended under edge of lift so when lift...

Atlas FM9SL Scissor Lift Flush-Mount Install

I designed location of pipe and length of the hoses so that cabinet fit right over pipe coming up through the floor. I actually set the top of the pipe about 1/4" below finished concrete surface so finishers could make area smooth and level. I didn't glue it in place in case I wanted to go back...

Drilling out Harbor Freight HVLP gun to spray latex paint

You need to pre-filter to catch the clumps.. usually from paint that is poorly mixed or was open can and you dont want paint skin clogging inlet filter. Inlet filter in the bottom of the HF paint "can" gets clogged very easily, it's wayyy too small for thick, viscous paint so you'll want to run...

2020 Tankless gas water heater. who's making the most reliable one for our homes

Similar boat: Replacing 10yr old tank heater and water boiler with a combi unit from Rinnai. Purchased smallest model, not because cost but because low flow rate to activate hot water side. Heat calculation on hot water boiler also showed that it was oversized for the need, hence short cycle...

Bendpak install: what is this part?

Looks like push-on retaining ring typically used on shaft to keep it from falling out of its bore, ie pinned in place. Cheaper than cotter pin i guess.
