MaxJax Installation Tips - WORTH READING

Hello Everyone! Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. I installed my maxjax lift with PD58s outside. The majority of the anchors worked well, with the exception of three of them where the concrete was only 4" thick. I used three power serts to remedy that problem. NOW, I'm...

The hoses would be 3500 psi 14000 burst. I bought my hoses on that site and fittings. Get the fittings too, they are twice the quality that comes with the lift. BTW I bought the 4600 psi hoses quick connects and fittings. Great prices and nice quality, regardless of the fact that its made in china!

Where To Buy "Not Made In China" ****?

I worked for a retailer that carried High End merchandise. When he was losing business to other retailers carrying junk...., he said, I'll give the people what they want. He discontinued all the high end merchandise and brought in all low end ****. He is now the largest retail chain in his...

Unfortunately...., its the new America. Good luck finding anything of decent quality! A pair of Durango cowboy boots made in the good ole USA 15 years ago are now made in China. Sad reality...., and I'm sorry, but the quality is S#@t. Its no wonder why a pair of vintage Levis jeans goes for...

I received the square pads too..., I think they are much better for lifting under the pinch welds. I noticed on your picture (Bondospecial) that your arm restraint wasn't engaged. I adjusted mine as far as it would go without lengthening the mounting hole and mine only engage by 50% max. Anyone...

How long have you had your lift......? It seems as though quite a few things have changed since the introduction. It seems they cheaped out quite a few things to save money on production cost. Like someone else said, the fit in finish is lousy......, especially at 2k for a mid rise lift. I...

I wonder what it is they can possibly do...., the channel that the slide blocks fit into is much larger. Interested in knowing how this plays out.

I have the same issue with the lift blocks. And I have the same 95lbs of torque on my anchor bolts, but when my 4300 lb grand caravan is on the lift, the columns do lean in a little bit. I just bought the Greg smith jack stands for piece of mind. I noticed that the columns are not completely...

Lift owners that sit on a rolling stool when underneath car

Just bought two 30' 3/8 hoses from discount hydraulics supply on line. I needed the extra length to mount the pump of my maxjax on the wall. They were great...., I think the hoses were $60 each and were much nicer quality then what was supplied. I bought all new quick releases and fittings as...

National Auto Tools Triumph C 7000

I was using a hand truck to move the posts of my maxjax around before I set it up...., works fine. Unfortunately...., this lift wasn't available when I pulled the trigger on the maxjax, probably due to the legal issues, otherwise I would have gone with this one with or without the wheels.

Thank you for the responses...! I figured it out..., two of the ratchet locks on the lift arms were bent which was making the the arm sit out of level. I'm up and running, no leaks and it seems to be lifting level. It does seem to kind of hop on the way up after the midway point. Just have to...

Its the way the arms are on the lift head. The concrete and the posts are level and plumb! Example..., if I tried to put the motorcycle adaptor on the two arms when they are closed, the adaptor wouldnt fit on properly!

Everything is Bled..., the issue is that the right arm on each column seems to be higher then the left, as if the holes weren't drilled properly. Was wondering if anyone else noticed this. Not a lifting issue.

Just about done with my install after finding the time to tackle it today. everything looks pretty good with the exception of the lift arms being uneven on both posts. the right side seems to be higher then the left. Does anyone else have a situation like this? Both posts are nearly perfectly...

Ahhh..., thanks for the tip! Well...., moving right along with my Maxjax Installation. Although, my set up isnt as pretty as some of the awesome garages ive seen on here, I've gotten some really great ideas. Anchors down and rock solid, pump off the cart and floor, and mounted on the wall...
