A couple other US made task lights that have been around for decades are Dazor and Fostoria. Dazor makes all sorts of lamps, but their drafting table fluorescent lamps are nice. Fostoria makes great machine lamps with super heavy duty arms that can be locked in place. I prefer the pre-1960...
