Try a Magrail TL from Vim tools . On sale right now on there web site. It will do everything you ask and you don't have to screw it down. It will attach magnetlically through your drawer liner. Or can drill each end and attach to wood.

Todd, What do you have, the Magrail or Magrail TL? The 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1' pegs are the same on the Magrail and the Magrail TL. The threaded studs are different. The Magrail threaded stud is square. The Magrail TL threaded stud is rectangle and will not work on the original Magrail.

The Magrail TL can easily be removed from a tool box drawer using the MRRL1 Rail Lifter. A package of 10 is around $6.

They may have them now, if not soon. They will have four magnet tracks and three "T" channels. Also available will be 3/4" and 1" diameter pegs. Some in the picture have magnets in only two of the four dovetail magnet tracks. The ones you buy will have magnets in all four.

The base on the Westling socket holder I believe is 1/4", the Magrail TL socket rail is 3/16" .

If you want to place your Magrail Tls in with miscellaneous tools, try attaching two back to back. That way they will not pick up the other tools. Ron

Contact Durston MFG- Vim Tools, they may have a 36" Magrail TL, I know they had some at one time.

I agree, I have no control over pricing. In the future you may see the various lengths of Magrail TLs sold in the plastic tubes in the photo and the user will buy the pegs they need separately. This should include black and new lengths. These would be sold by all vendors. OK here is how to cut...
