I'm thinking about picking up a pair of uninsulated Thoroughgoods. Hope they're as nice as everybody raves. I love my made in USA Red Wing 2412's with molded insoles and tufftoe...but they're a little warm during the summer months.

That's typically what happens, unfortunately. My dealer (best friend) offers more for boxes than they're worth to get you into a new, bigger box. Don't know what he does for downgrading, but I'll ask him tonight when he drops off some new tools :)

I don't mark many of my tools. Usually just the ones I keep in my Jeep tool bag, as they get scattered doing trail repairs. We have a laser at work and I'm fortunate enough to be the programmer. So I use that or just a simple pencil engraver when I need to.

Will do! For the money it really is a nice box. It was hard pulling the trigger on something like this without ever seeing one...but I'm happy with the decision.

Finally upgraded my box. Been working out of a 40" & 26" Craftsman for far too long. Couldn't justify a big $$$ box, though. I'm bringing one of my old 26" boxes to work, and filling it with old stuff and some doubles/triples I had. I'll get some more drawer pics later. Still waiting on a bunch...

I have a 1/2" Snap-on digital TechAngle and an old C'Man 3/8" clicker. I get my Snap-on calibrated annually for work, but keep it in my home box. The old clicker is always within 1lb or less...which is good enough for me! Like others have said, just keep the tension off the spring when storing.

Upgraded my wrenches. Still waiting on the SAE ratchet wrenches that will hopefully be here today. I also scored these Craftsman dog bone wrenches and bolt-out kit from a buddy for $10, these will be going in my Jeep bag.

I just bought a few of those retractable straps to throw in my recovery bag...they're pretty handy. For the bigger 2" straps, I just wrap them and use the hook like Vartz04 mentioned.
