    Bend-Pak Compressor Woes...

Thanks for the suggestions gents. I guess I really could do all the plumbing first without having the compressor in place. I didn’t realize it was so standardized that it could be done in that order. Jeff from Bend-Pak has reached out and is looking for solutions, but I think I’ve placed myself...

    Bend-Pak Compressor Woes...

PoorOwner, isn’t there more to plumbing the compressor than that? I’ve never owned a stationary compressor before, but the info I’ve read on this forum about dryers, regulators, and filters makes it seem that it would be hard to do the plumbing without first having the unit in place.

    Bend-Pak Compressor Woes...

Thanks gents... Getting by with a portable compressor for the nail guns for now. What I meant was, without the compressor in place and plumbed I can’t install my HD-9. Without the HD-9 in place I’d prefer not to epoxy my floors, so I don’t damage them during assembly. Without the floors...

    Bend-Pak Compressor Woes...

Hello, I ordered and paid for a Bend-Pak VMX7580-601 air compressor late last August, and they still do not have any inventory. They now expect to ship November 20th, a full three months after I paid them. They didn’t inform me of their troubles with inventory at the time I placed the order...

Alternative to bendpak rj45 rolling jack?

So grateful for these timely updates about the bridge jacks! I ordered an HD-9 today, and switched my planned order from two RBJ-4500's to two RJ-45's. I play with Little British Cars, and currently have a lowered TR6, but my gold standard for "low" is the pre-1974 MG Midget. If I ever get a...

    Getting a compressor in...

Yes! And compress the helium too. That way there will be more helium in there, and it will be even lighter!

    Should I Spend $3k for 3-phase?

Thanks for all the help Gents. I've emailed my GC and told him to delete the 3-phase. I can certainly make better use of the funds elsewhere. Cheers, Tom

    Should I Spend $3k for 3-phase?

OK, sounds like it's a nix... I thought there were 3-phase chargers for EV's in some markets that could charge a car in 3 hours?

    Should I Spend $3k for 3-phase?

Hello, I've tried searching, but haven't quite found a simple answer... I am building what I would call a large garage, but most of you would call a shed, 26x38. One garage bay will be for cars, one for motorcycles, and the extra depth will be a small workshop. I will have a 7.5HP 80 Gal...

Finished my garage floor with ArmorPoxy ArmorUltra in WHITE

I'm getting ready to do 1130 square feet (garage plus mechanical room) with two 600 square foot kits of Armor Ultra. How did the coverage work out? How did you order 'enough for 1000 square feet?" I thought the kits were 600 sf and half-kits for 300 sf? Thanks, Tom

    Dream come true

Hello TAG, I’m ordering a Bend-Pak 9 four-Post lift soon. I believe the motor and controls can be located on the forward left or back right post only.

    Hello from Central Vermont

Ah, yes, familiar with all of them! I’ve met Sean Lawson. Planning a SMEG Union Jack beer fridge, if I have any money left over at the end. Wish I could wait until summer to build, but there are some external drivers to my schedule. Everything in this world is a compromise, right? Cheers, Tom

    Hello from Central Vermont

Hello fellow gear heads and shop dwellers. I was urged to make a post and introduce myself, so here I am. I am moving to the Mad River Valley this coming spring, where I plan to work a few more years and then retire to what was once my vacation home. I purchased the adjacent lot some years...
