    Garage Tool Value?

Just know that if something happens to you she isn't selling all items individually on facebook marketplace or eBay. It's getting auctioned off for pennies on the dollar compared to what you think the "value" is. With that in mind, give her a list of things to sell herself meaning the highest...

1/4" and 3/8" socket drawer nearly complete.

I like collecting them just like anyone else. There are times when things probably get out of hand though, and I'm guilty of it myself. Someone who has time should do a chart showing the value of a dollar sitting in a drawer vs a ratchet. They both lose value over time but it probably isn't...

    Vise grip project

You got a riveter machine? And the other assortment of missing parts? Truth be told that pile seems cool, but also about $60 worth of steel. A few of the seemingly already complete ones probably are worth a few bucks.

    Kobalt 1st gen wrenches

I think Armstrong for Kobalt and Snap On for Husky if I remember correctly.

New Icon G2 Wrenches? (Not just Ratchets)

Really shouldn't be any design issues. Snap-On did all the R&D.

For what it's worth, the finish on the Malco / Snap - On versions was/is miles ahead of the old Peterson USA vise grips.

    Rate my foundation.

It was built 50 years ago and has "no evidence of problems". What do you possibly need to know? Seems like it's fine.

What is the attraction of Hammer Drills

Agreed. I have a Metabo drill that is great in normal or hammer mode.

What is the attraction of Hammer Drills

A good hammer drill works quick and easy in brick for tapcons.

How much is cost a factor in your hand tool purchasing decision?

To be fair, VERY hard to buy an actually ****** tool these days. You have to intentionally seek them out.

    New Icon Wire Stripper/Cutter/Crimper

Too big for residential electricians, auto mechanics, and maybe some commerical/industrial users. So, at that size, I'm not sure who they are marketing it towards to be honest.

Is the Den of Tools a shill?

You contradict yourself in your post. You say you don't like how people on YouTube do tools reviews because they don't meet your specific situation and criteria then say the person should review them based only on your exact criteria. How is that in any way unbiased and fair?

Is the Den of Tools a shill?

I believe that Project Farm is VERY fair in that the tests are what they are and the results are what they are. I agree with you that those tests don't always translate to real world use, but, I would say that they are relatively close and that's probably one of the closest tests videos you'll...

Paid by Harbor Freight and it's obvious. Can't stand watching his videos.

High quality. There was a similar option on Amazon for one made by NEIKO (part number: 20753A) that is probably VERY similar. Currently $8 instead of $30+ for the Snap On if you want to start with a cheaper alternative.

Snap On CTS561CHUCK on a blank handle SDD5R1R (1/4" hole drilled out to a letter K size). 2 part epoxy from Harbor Freight was used. Stuff works great for $3 or whatever it is.
