    Picked up some pallet racking

I have been watching for it regularly. This was at a local chain lumber yard about 40 miles away. They are renovating some of their yard and posted this morning. About half to a third of the price I normally see it.

    Picked up some pallet racking

I went to buy a few sections of pallet racking today that I found on Craigslist. My dad decided he wanted a couple sections too. Came home with this trailer load and have to go back for the other half of the beams and plywood decking tomorrow. Now to get some space cleared out to get some set up.

Need Advice not garage but House Related

It is probably not condensation coming from below the slab but it probably wouldn't hurt to make sure that water is draining away from the house. There is a lot of debate as to whether a crawlspace should be vented or not. My personal opinion is that the crawlspace should be sealed unless it...

Renovating my 12x20 Garage - need help from experts

As for 220 for an electric car, run as big a wire as you can or run as big of a conduit as you can. The electrical requirements keep going up for bigger batteries and faster charging. 30amp is about the minimum you can use now and if you want future upgrades without tearing everything out I...

Advice: want to mark my surveyed property line stakes..

It has every relation to 100 year old surveys. Often modern surveys are based on old surveys and when surveys start from different old survey markers and descriptions they do not work out. The modern surveyor then makes a decision that they are the "correct" one and it goes on and on and on...

andgott, did yours come from amazon? If so, they have 2 different versions. Mine has a red handle with the trigger on the bottom and a wire standoff while yours is black with a trigger on top and a stamped/machined standoff. Interesting. I hope I got the better version:lol:

    Plasma Cutter Lotos LT5000D $249

Mine arrived today. Put it together in a few minutes and used the 110 plug I had on hand. Cut through 1/8 steel like nothing on 110 and my pancake compressor. Waiting for my 220 plug to arrive to really test it out with the big compressor. Going to use my 30 amp generator cord for double duty.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

A few more finished and mounted pics. As you can see the jaws were a little thin so someone fabbed some spacers that I painted black and reinserted. I'm guessing the jaws were made for a different model Wilton. They are 1/2 inch thick.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

My "New" 1955 Wilton 9400 My grandpa was cleaning out an old building that he is selling after a number of years. I told him there was only one thing I wanted out of it. I had to give him $40, which he and I both know was a steal. I didn't realize its major flaw since I never really...
