    Just talking to a few tool companies trying to decide who to buy from. Just planning to upgrade my tools and checking out the "truck" brands.

    The dealers must be the ones who decide what the warranty is because "customer service" does not seem to know what it is. This person does at least know it is "for a specified period of time", and depends "on the tool in question". I guess a 9/16 wrench may have a different warranty from a 3/4...

    I don't loan any of my tools for any reason. I also don't ask to borrow too for any reason, if I need a tool I buy it unless it is an expensive tool that will be rarely used, then I rent one.

    None really. I have been watching between the regular Sears sale ads and the Club ads and usually everything in the Club ad shows up in a Sears ad over a 3 -4 week period for the same price, just not all at the same time like in the Club ad. At least it does here.

    I have a 1/4 drive and a 3/8 drive Craftsman ratchets that need to be taken apart and cleaned and re-lubed. How do I do this? The 1/4 has the typical lever that changes direction, ont the top of the "head" it has a "hole" that has what appears to be like a ball bearing and seems to have a spring...
