I have to say man, I absolutely love this place, and we are not bringing the “cali-woke” culture with us. We are here to embrace and appreciate the ways of the locals and support our new community

Moved to New Hampshire, got me an attached 2 car heated garage!! Need some snow/lawn tools and counseling

Yeah… other people have been very open, for example, the house we sold, we even had the previous owner in a FaceTime call a couple of times explaining us how to care of the yard and such. This previous owner grew up in this house and I think that there is quite a bit of emotional load about...

They have an expensive tractor and when you buy a house or sell a house, you only talk to your agent and they talk to theirs. I’m not going to be able to afford a 20-40k tractor

Moved to New Hampshire, got me an attached 2 car heated garage!! Need some snow/lawn tools and counseling

Hello, We’ll move in at the end of January and I’m new to New England. I’ve lived in very cold places in the southern hemisphere, but it didn’t snow as much. Just frozen everything. Anyway, I have about a 30-50 yrd gravel driveway and about 2 acre field that needs mowing with some...

    The Ryobi Tool Appreciation/Review Permathread!

I have been using 23g and 18g cordless nailers and they are very good. The 15g angled nailer is a POS. My whole company was smirking at them been ryobi but they have all borrowed them at some point. Thumbs up to these guns (23 and 18) Sent from my LM-X212(G) using Tapatalk

Hello, I've been in the trade of finish carpentry, trim, doors, Windows, cabinetry for about 17 years. I've found countless books on the topic of wood tech, jointery and finishing. Also jig making and equipment. However, I've found "understanding wood" by Bruce Hoadley, the most helpful...

Any reason not to buy this DeWalt kit?

Fuel m12 impact driver. Yes. To be fair the 20v dewalt impact driver im comparing it to is like 4 years old. And also find it stronger than those black brushless 18v Makita. Mind that the Fuel m12 has 4 torque settings. Sent from my LM-X212(G) using Tapatalk

Any reason not to buy this DeWalt kit?

My coworker has it so ive used it. My m12 fuel similar set was same price but I find it more powerful and better quality, better features. Plus the m12 line is insanely big. So many options. M12 milwaukee that is. Sent from my LM-X212(G) using Tapatalk

Which track saw would you recommend?

I was trimming windows and door like that way before track saws were here. I preferred that against hand power planer Sent from my LM-X212(G) using Tapatalk

Which track saw would you recommend?

Ive used festool t75, t55, Maffell the big and small one, and ive used grizzly. If I had to buy a track saw again, I would go grizzly and I would use a festool or Diablo blade. Grizzly outlived maffell cutting thru solid oak doors full depth. Now, there is a festool ive only used once...

My mother in law has this thing and wanders what to do with it. I have no idea if its worth trying to use it or not. Its been sitting for like 20 years. What do you think? Sent from my LM-X212(G) using Tapatalk
