Are Japanese Koken wrenches reasonable in Australia?

I taught in higher ed for many years. Be careful with for-profit schools. I think that they are generally to be avoided.

I looked at Stihls a few years ago and ended up getting a Dolmar.

I can't say that I like using a 1/4" ratchet that much. It feels flimsy.

For most things 3/8 does fine. You need 1/2 when you need more torque, for brake calipers, suspension parts, etc.

I have a Athol 613 vise of my grandfather's that I am trying to put back into service. The base seems to require notching of the bench or an additional bracket to affix. Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. The catch now, after speaking with the county, is that I have to achieve an R10 value on the wall. Owens Corning pink board at 2" is R10. This messes things up a little with flat studs. I'm thinking that I may rip the 2x4 to 2" and turn it on its side. Johns Manville...
