sent this photo over to get it added to the list but figured someone may have a thought on this. It's a 214 1/2, dated 1/42. Unusual things about it are it opens to 7 1/4" instead of the 6 1/4" in the Reed literature and it has a 4 hole base. I've never had a 4 hole base that wasn't marked as...

Hi Matt, the 69F is a great vise but is a bit of a lightweight for a 6". I had one and the old gal was 124 lbs, weighed on two separate scales.

the second is a Gen Fire Ext Co vise. It's marked 223-2 on the right side of the moveable jaw and '3' on the left side of the static. 5" replaceable jaws, 125 lbs, opens 5 1/4" and is a solidly built s.o.b.. The main nut looks to be part of the static jaw and the draw bar is solid except...

Picked up a couple of vises in the last month that I didn't find on the spreadsheet. First is a Chas Parker 69F, 124 lbs, 6" jaws, opens to 9 7/16" and has a single screw through the collar. Kind of brutish looking!

cleaned up another R for the Reed shelf. this one a meatball 204. for a change of pace going to clean up a well worn Parker next. hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Smitty beautiful work on the knife! (my wife shot down the idea of high temp forge, furnace or kiln in the basement for any reason other than heating the house) VA nice pickups on the vises and the I-beam look is pretty cool :thumbup: Chris your Morgan cleaned up really nice! Dan well...

Little more free time than usual so have been cleaning up some Reeds this past week or so. Got to a 104 4 hole base; a 105 R and a 104 1/2 R. Lined up all the Reed 4 hole stationary vises for a group shot before putting them on the shelf.
