MIG vs TIG - Exhaust ideas

stainless welds basically the same as mild steel, just different wire (308LSi ,309LSi and 316 wire) and uses a tri mix gas(he/ar/co2). Im almost positive you can use a flux core wire as well if you don't have gas...As far as is stainless worth it..Its definetly an upgrade if its affordable

    Snake repellent......help

That is the skin of a black rat snake..harmless. As far as repellent, there is none.Snakes don't give a **** about moth balls, sprays or any kind of repellent. It probably just wandered through, looking for food or a warm place to hide. He'll roll out on the next warm day or when he's hungry.

    Painting vintage tools

I like the look of restored tools a lot. but if im buying used/old tools I prefer them in their worn state. It usually tells me the tool has been tried an tested with time, not potentially flawed/fixed covered in paint. But given a choice between 2 tools of equal quality, one worn looking,one...

How to you treat your tools?

I don't mind if my tools get dirty or caked in grease but when its all said an done, they're wiped clean an put back in order.ill even spray some wd40 in my sockets an chase it with a rag if its a nasty job. I don't want to fumble around searching and wiping tools off to find the right size. I...
