    That 956 is a nice clamper and yours is an oddity, is has some nice looking jaws on it build a nice stand for it, if that was the only large vise I had I don't think I could sell it or would I :headscrat it would be a hard one for me to give up with a nice set of jaws on it

    Been awhile since I posted a vise, here's a half way decent little Morgan 87 I picked up and probably one of the first with the pipe jaws still in it, this was filthier then heck when I got it all I did was cleaned it up with some totally awesome have not used no stripper or wire brushed it...

    Its a dang good vise if nothing is broke, I got a 406 which is a 6 jaw rear swivel, swivel base you can't hurt them very easy there pretty dang tough

    If my thinking is correct you should be able to hook the VFD up to a reversable switch being the motor is 3 phase you can bring that thing to a crawl and tap with it if need be
