    Ballistix Protective Sealer/Coating

Thanks. I plan to let the stain cure 24-48 hours. What cleaning method do you suggest, would a damp mopping with sufficient time to dry be sufficient?

    Ballistix Protective Sealer/Coating

I plan to use BallistiX NCO on the unstained concrete in the 1300 sq ft garage area of my Buick Sales and Service build after a thorough cleaning. However in the 300 sq ft office area we want to apply a solid stain then use the NCO over that. We've had a hard time finding a solid stain in the...

    Delta Dye on new floor

This post is from 2020 but I am still only seeing the 1" squares and circles on the Legacy site, so Scotty, are there larger size color samples you can point me to so we can better determine what we want. Most of the colors my wife and I are seeing are darker than we really want. I want to order...

    Legacy Industrial 6525, shelf life?

Thanks Scotty, I'll give it a shot. I've not opened the can yet and have no idea what it should look like once I do. Any idea of any indicators of what might point to it being not so good. I will stir then mix with a paddle on a drill. I'll be using this on 7 year old concrete in the area of the...

Thanks Jayman. I like the combination of tin and beadboard too. AND while I did plan it that way, it turned out I used every piece of beadboad I had to do do both ceilings AND the limited use of tin was good on the budget.

and finally, installation..... pop a straight line along the length then another 90* off that, place the first one then they all pretty well fall into place. This stuff is thin and will cut your *** if you so much as look at it hard so wearing gloves is a must. Oh, and a helper is by all means...

Then brush on two coats of clear coat. Luckily I read the directions and didn't use the roller as I had planned. Final product.... this will have to do.

Wanting a much cleaner look that I could apply a clear coat over without fear that the rust would pop through in time, I kept researching. My next experiment was to try and get a rust color on the metal but not a true rust. Copper color came to mind. From my high school chemistry class I...

Brought that post back up to refresh our memories...... So did a little experimenting with the finish I wanted on the pressed tin ceiling tiles. One being what is called crackle paint. It's meant to replicate years of paint over paint and the crackling effect that comes with time. The process...

Love taking the Estate Wagon out on errands to stretch her legs every once in awhile. I had originally planned on window AC units just installed into the walls and had actually cut out for them when framing and putting up siding. But after seeing the efficiency of the mini splits decided to go...

I bought one of the 300W and installed it in one of my temporary fixtures just to try out. VERY BRIGHT and as you mentioned shines pretty much straight down!!! But after the first couple weeks now I notice it is not near as bright as when first installed, like by about 20-25% less maybe. I read...

My 36k and 12k Mr Cool install

Thought I'd share the install of a 36K and a 12K Mr Cool unit in my Buick Sales and Service 1936 garage build. Still have the electrical hook up to do and will update here when that's done. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/buick-sales-and-service-garage-1936.248534/page-29#post-9568696
