I purchased a tube of the Sikaflex self leveling sealant and some backer rod at Home Depot and was going to try test filling my joints. The backer rod is 3/4" and doesn't fit in the joint. Do I find some smaller backer rod, fill partially with sand or just fill the entire joint with the sealant?
