I have to ask a stupid question here. A lot of guys want their ratchets to be super quiet. Any reason why? I'm just a DIY guy but I like my ratchets to be a little on the loud side. Not dry of course, but also not super quiet.

I found this video to be pretty interesting. I wanted to learn a little bit about their history and this video pretty much covers it. I know that their tools have been made in Taiwan now for the past 18 years and they are owned by Stanley. I would like to find some Australian made wrenches but...

Where do we draw the line? Everything seems acceptable these days. I for one think that the word "****" was used in poor judgement for the general public but it's not my forum and Ryan can do as he sees fit on his site. While we're on the subject, I wish a moderator would remove the tag line...

I find it kind of sad that an engineer doesn't understand that the forging process, quality of steel used, heat treating, etc... is not the same at Gearwrench as it is at Snap-On. Sure, they may look the same and may even function the same for awhile but for how long? You get what you pay for in...
