Is this the worlds coolest socket?

It can't be used, unless you have a Indy or similar type car laying around. :D It makes one hell of a pen holder.

Is this the worlds coolest socket?

I have wanted one of these for a long time. I finally scored one off eBay for a price that I could live with. It's a titanium socket used for taking off single wheel nuts on Indy cars. These sockets run $1500 new, and the impact gun they fit on cost $4500. :scared: I'm like a kid at Christmas...

    Is standard obsolete?

I find it funny that some people say SAE is obsolete, yet used prices are still fairly high. You'd think that a tool that is useless is worth next to nothing. :bounce:

    Sae, what's the point?

You guys are making this waaaaay too difficult! :lol_hitti Buy a Metrench set and be done with it.

doesnt HF sell a multitool ?

Multi-tool's have their place, but they'll never replace the proper tool. I'm really glad that HF doesn't sell one. Could you imagine what a "POS" that thing would be!! :D

I really like the satin finish of Hazet tools. Price and availability keep me from buying more from them. :(

Is this a RR track anvil?

A steel ball bearing is best, but you can also use a 16oz ball peen hammer. Just give it a light bounce off the anvil and see if you get any rebound.

    Show your trim/clip tools

As promised, here is the lot from ebay. Some tools are incomplete but I really bought these for the Matco M-163's as they're kind of hard to find. The seller originally wanted $99 + shipping for the lot, but lowered the price to $59.99 + shipping and I offered $50 + shipping and he accepted...
