    Definition/explanation of "footprint"??

Think of footprint as the area of ground occupied by the structure. Overhangs do not count as part of the footprint, but overhangs can sometimes come into account with setbacks if you are putting it close to the property line. So a common 120 sqft shed size would be 10'x12'.

    Help! Drainage Situation

I haven't read through this entire thread, but there are a couple things I can tell you that you will not be able to do. 1) You can't send water onto your neighbor's property. 2) The city isn't going to let you discharge into their storm sewer. 3) The city would also likely frown on pumping...

    Options-Opinions for Jacking Garage

Have you seen this thread? https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=371545 It is definitely doable. You're going to need a lot of planning and even more bracing. If it were me, I'd bring the grade up outside too so that you have a level floor inside.

BendPak New GrandPrix 4-Post Lift - No Air Required

Nice to have options, but it has a bigger footprint than the HD-7W without the available runway to runway width. I'm sticking with the 7W when I have the funds. Its just too bad that the "extras" aren't included with them. I need easily removable ramps to fit in my garage, I wish I could have...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I apologize if this has already been covered, but our favorite red tool company is coming out with an M18 Backpack Sprayer. I wish I could justify it on my 1/3 acre lot. Concrete sprayer specific version:

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

If true...I'm so glad I held off last year from investing in the Ego lineup. Now if they would just come out with a snowblower too...we get so many snowfalls that take too long to shovel, but that don't really warrant breaking out the big gas blower.

The price is what had me hesitating too, I was always looking for a deal on it but they must be selling well enough at the regular price. Luckily I kept talking about it to my wife (I would have never asked anyone for it) but I think she told her parents I really wanted it so that I would...

Got the M12 underhood light from my in-laws for Christmas, got to use it for the first time on Sunday evening while replacing our dining room light fixture. Clamped it on to the railing and it provided plenty of light.

11mm the most useless socket in the world?

Must be a german thing, I've used plenty of 9mm and 11mm over the years on VWs and BMWs.

    Backyard flooding garage

I doubt the neighboring development had anything to do with it. It just looks like this was built in a hole. I recently designed a wall in NJ near the Passaic River. They had a bust in their topo, so it turned out that a portion of the area they were filling was in the 100-year flood plain. The...

    Backyard flooding garage

I see you found the Wet Garage Raise thread, good info in there. Not much to do here except bring in a bunch of fill and either lift it or rebuild it. Is your house dry? Make sure you have positive drainage away from the house and garage and make sure the garage pad is at least as high as your...

Same here, I've been waffling between the similar 52" and 56" Husky boxes, but have held off because I heard these were coming. I just hope the price doesn't go too high.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I did a google search on the model numbers and found this on the Homeless Despot's site, clearly says 56": https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/38/383cd746-759b-49c6-836d-01652efc0b83.pdf Apparently 56" wide and 22" deep, plus 18 gauge steel to comply with the new tariffs. New Milwaukee boxes coming out. Looks like it is their response to the new tariffs that caused the other toolboxes to not be...

At what point are impact sockets necessary?

Gray Pneumatic Duo socket sets = Problem solved. One set that are impact rated with the size/weight closer to chrome sockets so you can easily use them on hand tools too. No skipped sizes either. Keep them oiled and they won't rust.
