    SO Start up costs

I looked into this about 10 years ago when I was between jobs, including speaking with Snap on. It didn't take long for me to decide to pass. Reading some of the horror stories online confirmed I made the right decision. And collecting on debts *****, had to do some of that at another job.

Sears Rebuild of Chinese Craftsman Gone Wrong

While I have some (mostly early 90s) Craftsman that I like, I don't see me buying the brand again with so much of the product made in China these days.

It's simple...avoid the middle man, and order online! No need to deal with the truck that doesn't want your business.

My experience with a Snap-On truck today

^The above two posts...spot on! Having spent some time in sales years ago, reading this thread it's pretty apparent many of the truck guys are very poor at salesmanship!

Put the old Craftsman USA to work today

164 cu in 110hp. It's no Camaro, but it's a fun car. My dad had a Corvair back in the mid 60s (before I was even born) and he always said he liked the car which sparked my interest in them.

My experience with a Snap-On truck today

Sounds like alot of those guys are clueless. I mean, everyone's money is green. Why would anyone ignore a potential sale when they are right in front of them?! Dumb! Just order online. They ship pretty quick, and shipping is free/included under $500 in most cases.

Going to be a brand new automotive tech, recommend me some tools.

^Kinda reminds of what some guys say in the cigar hobby. "Smoke what you like, and like what you smoke". If your fine with Harbor Freight tools, great. If you like truck brands, great, as long as you're okay with the higher cost, go for it. Buy what you like... that's what I do.
