    CFL troubles with fixture

The electrical connection on lamp are aluminum not brass. Aluminum vibrates when electrons flow through it, thus loosing connection! Real old lamps and fixtures had brass base connections. Some higher end fixtures still do!

    Fair price for additional outlets

Have to look at the cost: gfi =$15,breaker=10, box and wire=25 and you have $50. Add labor plus permits and inspection. Not much left for profit? Gfi devices have to be t/r so there not the cheap ones anymore!

Concrete failure during 2 Post Lift install

That blue paint is used to hold the wedge inside the anchor! I have used drop in anchors were the wedge inside was missing or flipped upside down, making the anchor not set!

You should cut out concrete for footings! That cracking could result in a injury! I see they used drop in anchors? Most lift installs I notice they use thunder stud anchors! I have seen drop in anchors pull out!

    Question on garage light fixtures

Just my opinion! I would go with the 4ft fixture! Now it may take more time to install but as far as cost, storage of spare 8ft lamps it out ways them! Led would be my first choice. They have a longer life.

Real world cost to build a 24x30 garage?

Garage cost with my 24x28 is 42k. I bought better high lift insulated garage doors, man doors, windows, dyed concrete, plywood, and shingles. You have to compare apples to apples.....You can go with less options to get closer to your budget...and also depends on labor rates in your area.

Best way to run multiple pvc conduits to outdoor enclosure?

Not a big fan of uf cable! You can use building wire in the conduits and splice inside this box with outside rated wirenuts. Most times you need 90s to get depth of 24"(code) or 18" gfci protected. This is what you need...
