I've got 3 of these in different sizes.....anyone know what they are used for?

I know nothing about these - auction at a somewhat local school. So far the price is $625 for all 3. I was thinking I may be able to score them reasonable.....sell the other 2 and end up with mine free....or close to it.

Ive got a 1/4 Craftsman spinner handle you can put a ratchet on the end of.....works great and I use it all the time. I havent seen nor could I find a 3/8 equivalent.....anyone seen one?

Everyone is backordered on these and I'd like to try one out. Maybe someone bought one and didn't much care for it? Thanks

Can anyone clue me in on this vise. Advertised as vintage 4" jaw - opens to 5 1/2" Is it old? Is it American made? Good vise for general home mechanic use? Also looking at this one here.....Simplex 500 refurbed by owner. 5" jaw Either one having a glaring advantage over the other.
