Metal chop saw, buying considerations, opinions needed

I see older chop saws on CL all the time in the $50 range most should be USA.. B&D industrials seem to go really cheap and they are pretty nice saws. If you find a home owner saw it will probably be low use to.. Personally I would find a used band saw even if it is a chicom 4x6 lot less...

Here is my favorite hack saw...

No I have used some pretty crappy hack saws over the years, and it was not the blades.. The saw he posted is a very nice saw, Klien, Starrett and a couple others also make a pretty nice hack saw to.. They do have a similar design to the one he posted..

Snap-on VS Wright Tool --- Flank Drive Plus VS WrightGRIP

I have done a similar test, but not to break the bolt just strip the head.. And all of the brands you mention open up and strip a head, the serrations dont have anything to do with that.... The snappy and the wrights are both a better design and dont open up.. ANd its not just serrations...

Snap-on VS Wright Tool --- Flank Drive Plus VS WrightGRIP

I have tried this test with the local wright tools sales rep.. And the wright wrench's and the snapons are both pretty awesome.. I will say I got the snap on to strip the grade 8 bolt head without the cheater bar, the wright would still turn and I could probably had broken the bolt with the...
