I'm wondering about installing electric cable radiant heat under a porcelain tile floor. Has anyone done this? Will it compromise the strength of the tile install? This would be installed over my concrete floor.

LEVE, What sort of insulation did you use. Regular batting? Or rigid foam? Did you enclose the bottom or floor part too?

Sounds like a possible mixing issue. As in not mixed thoroughly enough. I really hope I'm wrong. My experience with 2 part epoxy has been with boatbuilding and repairs not floor coatings. What is "room temp?"

So I got a quote for $7 sq. ft. for solid color. More with chips. Plus travel costs.
