The older ones have Germany stamp while newer ones not. Zebra is the hand tool brand of Würth.

I've head some complain about the quality of their recent product. Their old products are quite good though.

One of them seem to be broke at the custom when they tried to check the stuff inside the box. The other one is already broken when he got it, probably destroyed by the post office cause the package was damaged:wtf:

The Fein boxes have excellent design, but it seems to be a little bit easy to break. My friend has two of these box with cracks near the joint. They are almost new.

    USAG in the US

Here are some pictures of my USAG tools. The wrench and the grey screwdriver have been discontinued. (Ignore the yellow and black wiha pliers)

The jaws look like File teeth.:shocking: Lindstrom is good at making electronic pliers, how can they make such a terrible cutting pliers:headscrat

Stahlwille and Cimco(both made by Witte), Wera, KRAFTWERK, SW-Stahl, Futuro(made by Pb) and SKG still offer these VSM screwdrivers. Cimco VSM screwdriver Wiha and Hazet used to offer them as well. Witte has them in the Product list but the dealer in US I contacted said they can't order it.

I bought just one from amazon.com. They are marked as clearance, so only a few sizes are available.

I have several Wera tools with the Rapidaptor Universal Bit holder, all of them are very loose. This is a design problem, not a manufacturing issue. The holder can hold the C6.3 bits very tight but cannot hold E6.3 bits properly. This is because the rear end of the E6.3 bits are shorter than the...

Just got my first new tool for 2017. A Vallorbe Glardon Valtitan file. It has a cut 0. Here are some comparison to Sandvik oberg cut 2 and cut 4. According to their website, this file has a unique surface coating that gives products a surface hardness of 72 HRc. The chromium-plating process...

I don't own a protop series screwdriver, only see it in the shop. Since the Protop series is thinner and not that triangular as the Maxxpro one, I guess it won't be a problem.

Do you mean the triangular shape? I have a quite large hand and it fits in my hands quite well. The handle is quite a lot larger than the protop series. Maybe the protop series fits into small hands better.

It isn't big if you compare it with Witte maxxpro or Facom protwist. The handle weights lighter than most other brand. The screwdrivers in the picture are PH2/PZ2/SL6.5.

I compared Lindstrom Rx8148 with Ideal Tek E5542 and Erem 576TX. They all cut well when they are new, sharp and clean. The only difference is the Erem one is a carbide cutter and can cut thin piano wire. Don't know how long they'll last.

    Tools from the old world

They are less than two year old since they are from the ergo-tek line that was introduced in late 2014. The oval head cutters are better than the tapered and relieved one in the photo, but generally speaking they don't match the quality of Erem and Lindstrom RX. I don't really have much chance...

    Tools from the old world

I have five Ideal-tek pliers and cutters, four made in Switzerland (Lindstrom EX series) and one made in Italy (Lindstrom EI series). I don't think the Swiss made ones are as good as Lindstrom RX or Erem. They have a poor finish. Some of them have a larger jaw than the other side that can be...
