Canadian tire brand mastercraft tool discussion

I bought my first Mastercraft (Maximum) item today in years (3/8" drive impact damaged bolt remover 75% off) and with the warranty on an impact set it definitely seemed worth it. A lot of my MC stuff is 10 years old and mostly Canadian made (sockets, screwdrivers) and i have been extremely happy...

The Fuller drivers that are sold individually at Home Depot are still Canadian made I just picked up 2 square shank slot ones on Tuesday. Great screwdrivers for the price.

    Buying harbour freight in canada

Sorry to chime in late here but I was all set to buy an SPG box from costco until I touched a US General box. The US General boxes feel much more stout, though I have never actually measured the gauge of steel. Even with the gas for my truck the trip to buffalo was way worth it for my US General...

    Xcelite Nut Drivers

Stopped at a garage sale this morning picked these up for $5, the guy was selling them because he couldn't handle the smell anymore. Apparently they've been this way since he got them 25 years or so ago. My question is is there anything to kill this nasty smell that I think is from the...

Starrett Dial Caliper- How'd I do?

Get some standards(or gauge blocks) and check how close it actually is. If its even close that's definitely a score especially for using in your home garage for weekend projects.

    Calipers Shopping

Personally I have started to stray from the Starrett brand, they just don't feel right in my hands. 2 years ago I replaced my digital Starrett 6" vernier with a 6"IP54 Fowler because I got a good deal on it, I have been extremely pleased with it (auto off is nice) I will definitely be adding...
