2020 - What are the Masses Using as a Beer Fridge?

Good thread. I need to start looking for one to pick up in a few months. Was thinking about just picking up a new fridge for the kitchen and moving the current one out to the garage. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Garage: to plumb or not to plumb? Full bath? Just sink?

At least get everything run now even if you don't put it in asap. It's a hell of a lot easier to get it set up now, rather than decide you want something in a few years and tear up work already done when you could have saved time (and money because it'll be tear down and rebuild) just doing it...

    White or off-white

Every thing I read said dont go plain white, because it shows a lot of dirt/dust/grime. Also semi-gloss or gloss are easier to wipe down than flat or eggshell. I went with a gray (with a bit of blue tint) in semi-gloss Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

    Coating vs tiles

So far mainly just storage more than anything. Cleaning it out now so I can actually work on vehicles in there. No wood work (I move out to the driveway for that). No welding (maybe in the distant future, but could also be done in the driveway). So more "mechanic" type work than fab. I'd say...

    Coating vs tiles

How/why did you choose one over the other? I was thinking of doing a coat, but tiles might be the easier way to go (just on prep work). What made you choose one over the other? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Painting unfinished garage: roll, spray, or pay?

As a guy repainting his garage right now, my opinion... 1. If you have money to burn and/or are in a hurry to get it done and not a lot in your way.....get a sprayer and go to town. 2. If your on a budget and/or don't care if it takes you a bit longer......go the roller route. I'm...

Does anybody do wrenching without gloves & why?

For the things I do, most of the time I don't wear gloves except for working in the yard (aka cutting/hauling trees, picking up prickly stuff, cleaning gutters). Mechanic work, no gloves unless it is hot temp wise. Working with metal, no gloves. Painting, no gloves. Wood work, no gloves. Sent...

Neighbor's pool filter discharges into my backyard

Why didn't you work it out with the former renters? Looks like it has been going on for awhile? But yeah, maybe they don't know it's an issue. Bring it up. Step one is make them aware that it's a problem. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    Need a new torque wrench

I had two HF "torque" wrenches fail and break bolts, so I wouldn't touch them even if people on YouTube says they are decent. As a hobby guy, I'll be sticking with CDI or PI (Precision Instruments) Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    Keeping your garage clean

I think the extra **** is mainly my problem. Trying to cull the extra "stuff" and get most things into a cabinet. Also thinking about doing some hanging cabinets in the detached garage so it will be much much easier to sweep under them. Will have to keep a better eye on door seals

    Keeping your garage clean

Okay, this might sound like a duh question, but I seriously feel like I am at a loss here. How do you keep your garage clean from dirt/dust/spiders/rats/other rodents? I feel like every time I walk out in either (attached or detached) garage everything is covered in a dust film and new...
