5000 is a solid in between. I thought the 6500 were too blue. At night with 5k bulbs and my garage door open, it looks like a UFO landed in my neighborhood ha. I think the 5k are perfect. I got the 92 CRI bulbs. It really is personal choice on how your eyes adjust to the light.

I was wondering about that. I might just try that. Did you go into the store first to ask them? I checked with HD customer service online and they said they would only price match if it was available in my area, which HD does not carry in store, and they will not ship....... :(

Insulation easy, and drywall is not rocket science. Mudding the dry wall smooth is a different matter ;) Make sure you have the vapor barrier, install the batts and cover it up with drywall.
