Nut/bolt torque - degree/angle range vs specific number

With a range that big, I think I'd just use an ordinary ratchet or breaker bar and close one eye.

Heat 24/7 or only when in the shop?

I don't think you need us to tell you which option costs more. The whole goal is minimizing the cost to be comfortable when you are out there. I have a similar size space but it is an attached garage...insulated but somewhat leaky doors, average wall and ceiling insulation and of course some...

Solved: Can I run my generator without a load?

    Harbor freight markets to posers

I don't have any Snap On or Freight tools. The real value buys are in between those.

Confess: What Tool Did You Not Really Need But Bought Anyhow? (Silly Stuff Included)

I bought 4 of these, never used, on Craigslist for $40 total...because they are over $400 retail. I suppose if I use them once it will make sense but so far they are just perched above some cabinets.

    Recommend me a screwdriver set

For most things that don't need an unusually long, short, small, odd, or super large tool I almost always grab a Wera. I do also like Wiha.

How hard would it be to sell garage door openers that I don’t need?

They (MAXUM, no "I") seem to sell on Ebay but you won't net much over $600 after fees. It's just a very limited market for a high end trolley opener. Too expensive for a homeowner, and a door company can buy them at wholesale.

Went with these PrimeLights *LIMITED EDITION* 4ft. LED 4 Lamp T8 STINGRAY® 4XL GEN 2.0: GUNMETAL GRAY RUSTIC - 80W Clear LEDs 14,400 lumens ...30 of them, that should take it way into overkill territory. I have a bit over 2000 square feet, 11 ft ceilings with local areas lofted higher.

    New build porcelain tile

I am also building new with an abnormally good size garage(s)...about 2000 total sq ft on the main level, part of it with a suspended slab and more garage underneath. I'm waaaay over budget and still unsure about epoxy, polyaspartic, tile, clear sealed, or bare floors...so I'll be following...

    Septic tank pumping interval?

I'd do some research on that. The concensus seems to be that a little bit may help but shouldn't really be necessary, and too much can cause real problems.

    2 car garage lighting recommendations

People thought that about having a disco ball in their living room in the 70's too. The wall and ceiling colors are good choices.
