I have the same tool, haven't had any issues on the wives RAV4 w/plastic cap. I don't know what the recommended tq spec is for it, but I just snug it down once it bottoms out.

    Ratchets: SK vs Snap on

In my opinion, SK ratchets work just fine, but are nowhere near the dual80s. I personally don't care for round head ratchets. The best thing for you to do is get you an f80 and try it out.

I have been thinking of the Milwaukee, I don't have anyone local to me that I know of that carries them so I can see one in person.

    Best Metal Cutting Circular Saw?

Next year I am going to start a project that I'll need a metal cutting circular saw. Most of my cuts will be with the aid of a straight guide, so I need the base to be sturdy. I was thinking the Milwaukee 8" would be the best one to get, but I wanted to check with others before purchasing...

    Armstrong 10pc 1/4 drive socket sets $18

They will be the same as the USA Cman sockets, these should also have the goofy double detents.

3/8 drive head in 1/4 ratchet body

Those are great comparison pics! I really wish SO would start producing 1/2" drive in a 3/8 body again. Perhaps a bunch of us should band together and contact them about a current dual80 model.

    SO PWZ2 pliers

They are made by Bahco(SO owns Bahco). The difference between the Bahco and the SO is that the SO has a grip on the handle where as the Bahco is just painted steel. Surprisingly, the SO isn't priced much more than the Bahco version.
