lol, With all these projects when do you find time to sleep? While we were in Vancouver we got a great deal on winter tires on rims(with sensors) for my truck as well. less than 2000km on tires. $1220

These pictures just show the finished leveling before the sod. You can also see how far 2 of the sprinkler heads spray.

Here we are finally getting somewhere. All the lines to the garage and sprinkler system are in. Now one final leveling of the yard before the sod. My brother-in-law driving the quad dragging a grate. this worked very well. He was enjoying it so much we couldn't get him to stop. :lol:

Everytime I work on something outside the dogs have to see whats going on. Here Sadie is digging in the trench..... maybe I didn't do a good enough job :dunno:

Well the Bobcat guy came over for a day and a half. He was able to remove the cracked pad, scrape the yard, bring in 8 loads of sandy loam and level it, in that short period of time. he is good!!

So now that the pad is done we unfortunately have to change priority as our yard is a mess. The dogs are tracking dirt and mud everywhere. We need to call the bobcat guy back and level this out. You cant see it in pictures but there is quite a drop off to the rear left of our yard. we need that...

Finally having the cement poured is a huge step. It is polished a bit now and ready to go at this point but now we are going to finish our yard. I kinda liked the lines the plastic covering left. but they went away:(

well its been a long time coming in my life but we are finally pouring the slab. For anyone that has never done this. It is a pretty exciting time knowing that its finally going to be built. The pumper truck guy wanted to buy my 73 firebird. now we are ready to do the finishing :rocker:
