Project Farm Ratchet Test 2, Electric Bugaloo

This. I see so many comments, you can't compare 14.4V snap-on to 12V M12 or 18V vs 24V. Why? If they are advertising to do the same thing. You either buy one or the other to do the same job.

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

Performance by jaw thickness is accounted for in the points though

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

By this logic a pipe wrench is the best combination wrench in every scenario. Throw a 3/4" thick jaw on any wrench and it will turn wide stuff regardless of design. But on a thin bolt head that data point alone is meaningless if it's contacting only the 1st 1/4". Which is why performance per...

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

You're thinking of the ft-lbs they show in impact wrench testing. The PSI shown in the wrench testing is bolt tension PSI, and they give the divider in the video for torque wrench ft-lbs and Nm I believe.

I Found a NEW Low Priced USA Made Ratchet and Socket set - GTI Tools

Like I said, Neiko USA did the same thing. USA stamped into tools as part of their name, labels on boxes say made in China. I'm curious to see an actual "Made in" label or printing or otherwise on the tools should they exist.

I Found a NEW Low Priced USA Made Ratchet and Socket set - GTI Tools

We're talking about a 54-piece socket and ratchet tool set for $65. That number of sockets from Williams alone would be around $320. Respectfully, you're spinning your wheels here. If you're that certain it's made in U.S, buy them and show everyone the COO labels/stamping. It's an incredible...

Tools Where Air Power is Still Relevant

Tire changing machines pretty much all require air as well

Tools Where Air Power is Still Relevant

Tire chucks. Aint nobody got time to stand next to a tire for a minute and half for four corners. And to that end, blow guns. Cordless exist, but I'm talking about blowing out small blockages and cleaning off parts. Not dusting

Is 3/8" Pneumatic Impact Still Relevant?

Sometime you need mid-torque level power with barely enough room for a compact, then the nano comes out

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

It's scored by performance per wrench thickness as well. Does anyone watch the vid before complaining? But if we all petition all the brands to make them the same thickness that would be neat too

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

A wrench that grips with a wide jaw and a High Torque impact wrench are both things that are great... when they fit. The same reason you might own a compact or mid torque impact wrench as well is the same reason you might buy an impact that's an inch shorter but makes the same power over another...

Torque Test Channel Open End Wrench Testing Part 2

I think you guys are missing their actual ranking and only looking at bolt tension PSI. The Gearwrench comes in 17th! Yes high psi but also the widest jaws by far, 9.5mm. The average is like 7.5-8. Making its performance per its thickness poor

Hex Screwdrivers that go to large sizes

I'm sorry, but that's simply not going to work. All the same handle Size? And a handle size that's decently big for each size? Large shanks that taper to a hex just at the end so the whole thing doesnt flex? All same length? SAE is black and Metric separate color as red? Up to stupid large...

Hex Screwdrivers that go to large sizes

I bought the US Bonhdus ones in SAE and Metric and besides the handles being a bit smaller than I wanted on many sizes (didn't want "precision screwdriver" sizes) they seem to stop at sizes that leave a lot of usage out. The very day i got these I needed a 3/16" and was stumped as to why that...
